COCONUT THIEVES wins ARCL Division Championship!!
Coconut Thieves CC - a team of KAW members are the ARCL Summer League Div F Champions this year. Coconut Thieves defeated "Torpedoes" by 31 runs in the finals on Nov 22nd, 2009. Coconut Thieves were runners-up last season. The team members are: Ojus John (C), Girish Sharma (VC), Boney Mathew, Binu Purayil, Jithin Puzhakkal, Arunkumar Chacko, Nidhish Raj (WK), Varghese Thomas, Mahesh Kumar, Rajesh Balakrishnan, Mathew Raju, Geevan George & Sreekumar Valiathan. Aramel Valli dance performance
Alarmél Valli is a leading Bharatanatyam dancer and choreographer, acclaimed internationally for her ability to turn a traditional grammar into a subtle, deeply internalized, personal dance poetry. Her dance is uncompromisingly classical, but is, at the same time, an undeniable language of self-expression. It is both a stylised idiom and an idiolect, blurring the boundaries between tradition and the individual talent, inheritance and invention.
